Julie Karey
Quesnel, British Columbia
Julie Karey paints with vivid colour and dynamic lines and shapes to remind people of the resilience and brilliance in life and the human spirit. As an artist with chronic illness, for Karey, through art comes the beauty and inspiration that give life meaning.
"In truth, life only has meaning that we find or give it. And thankfully, painting liberates me from my own limitations and the limitations of the world. It allows me to connect with the deeper human truths around suffering, beauty, and what it means to truly live."
