About the Artwork
This piece was inspired by a trip to South Africa. I wanted the flowers to burst from the canvas – creating an almost tactile experience for the viewer. I chose a lush and warm color scheme to draw the viewer into a sensory experience, emphasizing the richness and the beauty of these blooms.
