In this painting I wanted to convey the feeling of a quiet moment of contemplation that can experienced on a beautiful summer's day sitting on the rocky shore of an island in Georgian Bay.
Time to watch the changing shapes of clouds, seagulls flying and the sun's sparkle on the water.
