This Old Farm is a charcoal, and pencil on paper drawing symbolizing days gone by and yet the present as well. What used to be, and still is home for so many. The square bales in the background symbolize hard work in the present, and the old truck and grain shed , the long canary grass, the balled up binder twine on an old broken down door, symbolize time passing and what used to be. This old farm is a place I think most of us have been to or seen at one time or another in our life. If you have ever had the privilege to wander around that old farm, you might remember the warmth and memories that come with it. Memories of people passed, old traditions, the fresh smell of newly cut hay on the breeze, and memories of running around as a child chasing butterflies and blowing dandelion fluff. It might just make you want to take a look in that old shed. This old Farm is a part of so many people’s lives, and memories…

I am a self taught artist originally from Northern Alberta, I now live in Northern BC not far from where I grew up. I specialize mainly in authentic western/country themed graphite art, pulling ideas from events that I have been to, or am a part of and from memories.
"The inspiration for my artwork comes from the authentic western life that my family and I live. I pull ideas from memories and local events that happen in our area and everyday life. I enjoy sharing those memories with people and it inspires me to keep creating."
