There is something special about Grandma's kitchen. Recently, I came across an old photo of my Babcia standing on a dirt floor, holding a chair and a dish cloth with a tarp as a backdrop. Although I never met her, I grew up hearing stories about this amazing lady. I imagined she was in her kitchen, with jars of preserves lined up on a shelf; bundles of fresh herbs hanging from wooden beams and a crackling fire. It's a kitchen full of warmth and love.
