My Ocean Life series of art is quite varied. Some work is made with only acrylic paint or alcohol ink, yet other work I have added papers, rocks, sand, & treasured items to create more textures. I enjoy using gravity to guide my work. I will tilt the support in my hands letting paint/ink flow, allowing “chance” to work its magic.

I work primarily with acrylics, alcohol ink and mixed media. I love to make large spontaneous marks when I begin most paintings. These loose marks suggest routes that I can take with the work. Since I am a tactile learner it is important for me to add layers of texture.
