My friend and fellow artist and long time member of the FCA, Jeanne Stangland, was an avid gardener like me. This iris graced her garden for many years. This painting is in honor of Jeanne who passed away in December of 2018.

Rosemary Bennett has been painting since childhood. She has travelled to Europe three times on painting trips, twice to France and once to Tuscany. She lives in Calgary, AB and is very active in the art scene.. She is proficient in many mediums: oils, acrylics, pastels, watercolors, and colored pencil.
