Cheerful Little Flags
Many consider the California poppy to be an invasive weed, but personally, I am cheered by the sight of the bright gold and orange blooms that have just enough height to sway in the breeze. Here they are pointing the way to Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Site, near Victoria, BC.
