This stunning view was seen from the top floor of my mother's apartment during our last Christmas together.
The warm and vibrant colours of the sky contrast with the foreground silhouette of trees and the Sleeping Giant peninsula. The subtle reflection of rooftops in the lower right area happen to actually be homes located on Elizabeth Street where our family home sat at the corner of N. Hill and Elizabeth for many years. Good memories of family and neighbours are reflected here.
