This abstract painting was completed by limiting the colour palette. I wanted bold shapes and aggressive mark making to "marry" by using vivid blues. Abstraction encourages viewer interpretation. Might there be a night sky or a tree silhouette in the painting? I simply felt some drama and boldness here and "Sapphire Symphony" seemed right.
