About the Artwork
I have chosen to use a mauve colour in this abstract because it is not in my usual palette. I wanted to go with something different and to experiment with dark shapes. Could this be a landscape with tree lines? Could this be a winter scene or a field of lavender. Let the viewer decide - abstraction allows for that.
