This painting is part of my Natural Architecture series…nature contains its own architecture. The vertical reach of trees stretching skyward. The horizontal strata of weathered cliffs. The angular geometry of fractured stone. These structural elements exist alongside flowing, organic forms, a beautiful contradiction that's both grounded and free. This series honors and abstracts this duality in nature. Strong vertical or horizontal passages anchor the compositions, while gestural marks flow around them like water moving past stone.
