Janice's work has an impressionistic bent which evolves with each piece. Her use of texture is abundant, giving a visual and physical tactile presence. Using palette knives as her main tool, her work reflects the energy and urgency she feels while creating.

"While painting, I am aware that I am transported from everything around me. My focus is completely on what I am doing, moving quickly with my chosen painting tools. It is an instinctual process as I react to what I see and feel while a painting reveals itself to me."
