About the Artwork

“Joyful” is an acrylic on canvas that captures the luminous harmony of a birch forest alive with colour and movement. Vertical trunks rise like bright rhythmic notes, guiding the eye through layers of warm golds, soft ambers, and quiet greens. Light filters gently through the canopy, creating a sense of uplift and calm. The composition balances energy with serenity, inviting the viewer into a moment of natural radiance. Exhibited and sold at the 2026 Landscape Exhibition, it reflects confident command of colour, atmosphere, and expressive brushwork.
