There are only a few places where cowboys are made and one of them is on the back of a bucking bronc. This oil on canvas painting is inspired from a bucking school in the North, Pouce Coupe BC, Canada. The pick-up men in the painting are wrangling a freshly bucked bronc and heading back to the chutes so the cowboys can buck yet another. It’s a cold windy spring day, trees are just starting to bud, and everyone waits in anticipation as some of the toughest cowboys learn to rodeo.
There is nothing quite as authentic western as the cowboys in Northern Canada.

I am a self taught artist originally from Northern Alberta, I now live in Northern BC not far from where I grew up. I specialize mainly in authentic western/country themed graphite art, pulling ideas from events that I have been to, or am a part of and from memories.
"The inspiration for my artwork comes from the authentic western life that my family and I live. I pull ideas from memories and local events that happen in our area and everyday life. I enjoy sharing those memories with people and it inspires me to keep creating."
