"Considering" exemplifies my technique of merging figures into their contexts, placing them within their personal landscapes whether this is a recognizable or abstracted space. A contemplative figure blended into an active collaged background serves to create a relationship between chaotic elements and calm reflection.

By blending figures into textured backgrounds I am expressing our interconnectedness; we are our contexts. This speaks to responsibilities we have to one another and to the world around us. Starting with abstract collages, I merge them with images from sketches or photos, transforming chaos into tranquil, contemplative art.
"I love the dance between intention and spontaneity. My process takes me from an often chaotic world to a quiet, contemplative space."
