About the Artwork
The inspiration for this piece draws from the artist's own winter plein air painting session in early January 2025, from a deck providing a gorgeous vantage point overlooking Shuswap Lake. The artist's choice of winter colors and forms speaks to a unique moment of discovery, capturing the interplay of light and shadow on a wintry day.
