About the Artwork
Fawn Lilies (or Dogtooth Lilies) with Yellow Violets along a stream. This started as a plein air painting that was continued in the studio. Clumps of these wildflowers flourished along a stream in the woods, occasionally lit by shafts of sunlight. My creative spirit is thrilled to find these small pockets of jewels flourishing in the woods or parks.
