About the Artwork

Growing up on the Canadian Prairies in the 60's - 70's on a rural farm, kitchens were the heart of the home where much of the food was prepared from scratch. This scene is nostalgic as it brings back memories of a simpler life and women gathering to prepare food taking advantage of this time to visit.

This oil painting is on 1-1/2” deep cradled board and is set into a slim black floating frame with a 3/8” soft antique gold rim. The painting itself is 20” x 20”. Framed size is 21.5” x 21.5” x 2”
