I visited Reifel Bird Sanctuary in Delta, B.C. one day in the fall and observed that despite the flora changing colours and dying back, the birds in the water were thriving. Clearly the water and what was in it sustained them.

Margaret Chow-Loo, a retired CPA, CGA as of 2019, started painting in 2020. She is a self-taught artist in acrylic painting. She has painted different subjects, including various landscapes and seascapes of B.C. and Washington State. She is an active member of the FCA as of January 2023.
"As a visual artist, when you see beauty in nature or anything, it is worth capturing it with paint and canvas. It is my hope that the viewer of my painting will experience such beauty and a sense of calm and joy in the painting."
