About the Artwork
This painting is part of my “Stand Still” Series of Paintings inspired by David Wagoner’s beautiful and meditative poem “Lost”. The poem speaks about being lost to being found—from disconnection to connection. This is accomplished by standing still, from being present and taking comfort in nature.
