This abstract sculpture of a one sided, one edged form is called a möbius. In abstract mathematics, a möbius cannot exist on our world, as it is a 2 dimensional object. But as I have given the form thickness and therefore a 3rd dimension, it can exist. Trace your finger from the top edge, round the form and you will come back to where you started without lifting your finger - proving it has only one edge and therefore only one side!
The marble is from Alaska, USA.

Binkley is best known for his original stone sculpture in a wide range of idiom, medium and scale. He strives to create artwork that entices the viewer to touch.
"I had my epiphany at the age of 20 to turn my artistic path to stone sculpture while in Florence, Italy after I witnessed first hand the unfinished works of Michelanglo. My first love is the human form, but I also enjoy creating abstracts and wildlife iimages."
