About the Artwork
Kayaking the Pacific Ocean on the wild, west coast of Vancouver Island, we spotted a lone wolf hunting along the shoreline of one of the many outer islands. This opportunity stimulated my imagination with a view of a mossy, rocky bluff, and a confident wolf, in this misty, wet, temperate rainforest environment that I call home. It is good to see this animal species thriving in this remote area.
