Crows, of the genus Corvus, are many in our neighbourhood. They are intelligent, social and friendly birds. Many societies around the world have stories and tales with crows symbolizing a wide variety of attributes such as trickery and transitions, death and rebirth. They often walk and hop along the local beaches, squawking and chattering to each other.
