In September 2021, I went on a whale-watching boat trip off Victoria, B.C. The fast speed of the boat in pursuit of a single whale swooshed the waters in the sea into a pattern that brought into focus Race Rocks Lighthouse in the background.
This artwork features in the online portion of the exhibition as a recognized work. Recognized artwork meets the standards required to feature in Federation exhibitions.

Margaret Chow-Loo

Margaret Chow-Loo, a retired CPA, CGA as of 2019, started painting in 2020. She is a self-taught artist in acrylic painting. She has painted different subjects, including various landscapes and seascapes of B.C. and Washington State. She is an active member of the FCA as of January 2023.
"As a visual artist, when you see beauty in nature or anything, it is worth capturing it with paint and canvas. It is my hope that the viewer of my painting will experience such beauty and a sense of calm and joy in the painting."
