About the Artwork
I painted this picture following a photograph taken in a park near my home, in the city of Vaudreuil-Dorion. I cross this park every day with my dog, during our daily walk. Hidden in the foliage of this tree, are most of the time small squirrels, to the delight of my dog! Despite all his efforts to catch them, his quest always ends in failure. Every day, I love to see the renewed hope in his eyes as he approaches this magnificent tree.
