Carol-Anne Almquist

Sechelt, British Columbia

Carol-Anne paints in watercolour on paper and on Yupo as well as in acrylics. Her work features mostly coastal landscapes and some figurative/portrait paintings. She has been featured in the Art of Watercolour magazine.

"In my painting I try to evoke the emotions that I feel when I experience the beauty of the BC landscape. I focus on the light and mood of a place, light can have so many interpretations and a paintings' meaning depends on the viewers' experience."
