About the Artwork
In the aftermath of the elephant hill fire, I met a small herd of cattle ranging on the dusty backroads. The burnt out forest was stark and bare behind them, and in the burning heat of the Cariboo summer, they seemed to block the road like apocalyptic horsemen (Or perhaps just cattle), and a warning of possible future catastrophes in this time of flux.
