Kayaking in the lakes of BC is such a peaceful and renewing activity. You can see views of nature and wildlife that simply can't be seen from any other vantage point. This peaceful little island gave me such a sense of stability and strength. I'm sure it was there long before I was born and will still be there long after I'm gone, as a home for a multitude of little creatures and birds.

Sheila Van Delft is a visual artist who paints landscape and wildlife with sensitivity and thoughtfulness and hopes to bring a little of the wilds into the homes of her collectors. Her images include a wide variety of subjects such as mountains, forests, lakes, rivers, and BC birds and wildlife.
"I have been an artist since I was a child and can’t imagine my life without painting. My favourite subjects to paint are landscape and wildlife so it’s amazing to be able to paint what I see around me every day."
