We see skies in many colours, moods, shapes and forms everywhere—the beauty and mystery of shifting light and atmosphere; the weather and time of day reveal an endless varying skyline. Many of my abstracted landscape paintings feature colourful sunset or sunrise skies. In this small framed sky painting I wanted to feature the vivid colours and moving shapes throughout a sky you might see out there morning or night.
This artwork exhibits online-only as a recognized artwork. Within our organization, recognized artwork has met the standards required to participate in our exhibitions. However, due to the volume of successful submissions to this exhibition, we can't fit all pieces in our in-gallery exhibition! This feature is qualifying towards Signature Status with the Federation of Canadian Artists.
