This piece created for submission into the Pride exhibition is rooted in the constructs that have been created by society about sex, gender, love and who people are. Social constructs created overtime without considering the inner person and who they truly are and identify as. This piece is my statement that we all must work together to build and stand for a world where we can choose who we are and who we love without judgement and hate. A society in which we can stand together and be safe being who we are.

Angela Stadlwieser
Edmonton, Alberta
Angela is a contemporary landscape artist. Her style is spontaneous in creation as seen in contemporary impressionism. Angela's work strives to evoke feeling through color and bold line work which also slants her work towards expressionism.
"The landscape of life is layered and ever changing. Angela creates to capture a moment in the midst of the steps taken on the journey. Her work is a way to express and connect to something that does not need to be said in words just felt within."
