Angela Stadlwieser
Edmonton, Alberta
Angela is a teacher and painter. She has lived her life in various communities throughout northern Alberta. She has shown with the Night of Artists and participated in other shows in Edmonton and area. Angela attended the University of Alberta for a portion of her Fine Arts and Education degree.
Angela's present direction is interpretations of meaningful places in Alberta's landscape and the feeling of the moments lived within that landscape. She creates art because it is something she loves and it feels natural. The process of experiencing a place and moment, then creating a representation for others to see, feel and interpret in their own way is truly special - this is what keeps Angela creating.

The landscape of life is layered and ever changing. Angela creates to capture a moment in the midst of the steps taken on the journey. Her work is a way to express and connect to something that does not need to be said in words just felt within.
