I was on a plein aire painting expedition in Whistler. As I settled in with my paint set, a douglas squirrel ran up a tree to check me out. It was right next to me, so I made a little sketch ,took a few photos, and continued with my landscape. As I painted, it continued to peek at me, chittering angrily and periodically scrabbling around the tree trunk to get a closer look. Judging from its noisy comments, I don't think it approved of my presence. What can you do.....art critics!
