About the Artwork

Jurying Item #3

Working through layers of paint and collage, with the addition of marks, lines, and texture I am able to create a story on the surface of the canvas. It's exciting to find surprises on top or just below the surface of the paint. I am intrigued and it makes me want to explore within the painting.
