About the Artwork

Katsura River in Kyoto is a dreamlike area where boatmen use long bamboo poles to steer. The whole setting feels like being transferred back in time. During the cherry blossom season in spring the scenery is especially beautiful. I dream and long to visit again since this is where some of my family live.
