Katsura River in Kyoto is a dreamlike area where boatmen use long bamboo poles to steer. The whole setting feels like being transferred back in time. During the cherry blossom season in spring the scenery is especially beautiful. I dream and long to visit again since this is where some of my family live.

"I am inspired and aspire to recreate simple light and beauty in loose, free expressive ways with the medium at hand. If it is watercolour, let it be wet and loose water. If it is another medium, be true and authentic to the medium."
