About the Artwork
Haida Gwaii is a landscape that exudes calm, strength, and affirms the power of natural beauty. My painting travels there have left an indelible impression, one that is easily revisited in the many location studies I have painted there. "On The Way To Gray Bay", is the direct result of one of my many location studies, a beaver pond on Morseby Island, quiet and light with a mystical, dreamy quality.
