Not For Sale
During the summer I experimented with eco printing. Choosing a few of the pieces, I painted back into them. I loved finding the hidden image and enhancing the effect. Water-based media, ink and collage provided the means for the interplay between chance and control I most enjoy. I found a balance between realism and abstract.

Nature and the world around her inspire Doris. Mixed media is Doris’ favorite form of painting. She loves exploring textures, shapes, and a more contemporary look. Art has become a voyage of discovery and she follows it to see where it will bring her.
"Capturing memories in a way that a camera cannot, my paintings invite you to explore the subject; quietly discovering what is really there. Each painting is a story waiting to happen"
