Although many people in adverse circumstances sadly experience suffering and loneliness during “lockdowns” of this ongoing pandemic, , many others living in more favourable conditions find that the “free time”replacing habitual activities, social events and expectations, has provided possibilities not normally available. They find themselves reflecting, creating, or just practicing “being”. As I painted this, images of Italian buildings in small towns and other things I have seen evolved to set the scene.
