About the Artwork
In the midst of winter, what I dream about is Solstice, the day that marks the beginning of the return of the light, as our northern hemisphere begins its journey back into longer warmer days. This particular painting was finished on Solstice and so it was a perfect title for a painting filled with light uplifting colours.
