Colour is a powerful way to connect people to a memory in the absence of a subject. Using blue I wanted to create the feeling of being near or in the ocean. There is an entire world to be discovered beneath the sea, it’s vastness, the unique landscape, and an abundance of creatures of all shapes and sizes. I used line, collage, layered paint, and marks to mimic the beauty of the sea.
