This is one of the works in the Wild Pacific Trail Series which I painted to draw attention to this wonderful part of Canada threatened at the time with development. In this scene it is evening and the fog is starting to roll in. I took the picture by Blackrock Resort in Ucluelet.

""My paintings, which are done in series, are an attempt to show beautiful locations whose natural integrity has either been altered by human intervention or is about to be. What is the cost of our imposition on the virginal status of these lands and the inhabitants therein?""
