A lichen clad boathouse perched on rocks, weathered by the forces of wind, sea, and sand.
As I picked my way amongst the rocks near Lavender Bay on Gabriola Island, I spotted this decaying boathouse covered in luminous yellow lichen on the seaward side. Inside, only a few remnants of boating paraphernalia remained.
