Growing up in New Zealand gave Isabel the opportunity to appreciate the natural beauty of coastal and rural locations, themes that would later dominate in her seascape and landscape paintings. Working with a limited palette Isabel works primarily in acrylics, preferring to paint in a series to better understand her subject matter.
Recently Isabel has enjoyed painting many of the beautiful places close to her Maple Ridge home, constantly searching for new subject matter as she hikes trails and greenways.
Isabel is an Active Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, the Fraser Valley FCA Chapter and the Garibaldi Art Club. Her work can be seen at the Maple Ridge ACT Gift Shop and in exhibitions around the Lower Mainland.
