About the Artwork
As I listened to the trembling Aspens of the Bald Range near Summerland, I was struck by the colour palette that characterizes the Okanagan with its sages, pinks and russets. In the autumn they harmonize so beautifully with the turning colours of the leaves, particularly when a diffuse evening light envelopes the land.
