About the Artwork

“Imperial Garden” is a unique acrylic abstract painting. While suggesting the opulence of an imperial garden it invites you to uncover Feng Shui symbols imbedded within the painting. Specific colours are chosen which contribute to the effect of balance and harmony. The attachment of a tassel denotes good fortune, protection, and positive energy. Tassels, which are believed to carry prayers and blessings are considered a connection to the Divine. In ancient China they were also used to exchange information. Travel into this painting to experience the joy of discovery beneath the layers.
