About the Artwork
I am missing the joy of travel and experiencing different cultures. I was accepted to do an artist residency in Tuscany, which is on hold.
One day we will will be able to travel further afield.
In the meantime, I am grateful to be able to cross my garden to my art studio. There I can imagine fantasy islands,foreign adventures and distant dreams.
"Escape" is one of those fantasy islands,with lovely water, and a tropical sunset.
