About the Artwork
In this painting, my goal was to combine two of my favourite styles, abstract and realism. I very much enjoy representational painting and capturing a likeness, but I also love the freedom of abstract work and in this piece I’ve put the two together. Perhaps Larissa is standing in front of an abstract piece and she’s turning to the viewer as if to say “I like this one, what do you think”?
