This location immediately caught my eye—the building’s colour contrasted beautifully with the boats. My process is all about layering: pen and ink first, then watercolour, followed by marker and more ink. During the watercolour stage, I let the paint flow naturally, and once it settles, I begin adding layers and details. My favourite part to work on was the texture of the stone wall and the boats.

I’m an urban sketcher and painter drawn to city scenes, natural landscapes, and animals. Watercolour’s vibrant unpredictability fuels my love of line work and layered colour. I approach each piece like a puzzle, focusing on small details that bring the artwork to life.
