Castles are everywhere in Scotland! It’s impossible not to paint Edinburgh Castle. This view was perfect—the castle beautifully framed between two buildings in Grassmarket. There’s so much happening in this scene, so much great detail to work with.

I’m an urban sketcher and painter drawn to city scenes, natural landscapes, and animals. Watercolour’s vibrant unpredictability fuels my love of line work and layered colour. I approach each piece like a puzzle, focusing on small details that bring the artwork to life.
"“Cityscapes, nature, and animals shape my work. Watercolour’s unpredictable energy and detailed line work let each painting unfold like a puzzle finding its final pieces.”"
